Auto Damage Appraisers of Midland began in Midland, Texas in 1954. Through the years there were three partners
that owned and operated the business. In 1983 the business was incorporated and the name changed to Auto Damage Appraisal
Service Of Midland, Inc. At this time one of the partners had sold his interest to Bob Roberts, another partner had retired,
and the third partner J.C. Mader had passed away. J.C's wife Lucille Mader had 1/3 interest, while Bob Roberts and his wife
Nettie Roberts held the other 2/3 interest.
In 1989 Stanley Prather was hired as an appraiser and later that year named manager. In October 1993 Stanley Prather
bought the business and became the sole stock holder.
In 2008 Jerry Roberts bought 49% stock in the corporation, and due to health issues Stanley Prather stepped down as manager.
The business has been managed by Jerry Roberts since 2008. Jerry is the nephew of former owners Bob & Nettie Roberts.
